Literature Text

I write you. Not nearly as often as I should. Time won’t allow it. I won’t allow it. And what I write will never get to you anyway. It wasn’t meant for you. Though it was about you. So many letters I never sent bear your name. But I do write you. Often. You’ll just never know.

I write you. Every day. But you don’t care to read. What I write is worthless. To you. To me, it is you. All I have left, in fact. Your presence now only words on a page that will never be read. Not by you. And I wouldn’t want you to. They’re my words to write.

I write you. Like you’re the only person I know. Like your name is the only one I can spell. But it’s not. You’re just what I write. I can’t help but write you. Even if you don’t want me to. I write for me. Never for you. Unless it’s what you want me to do.
Another piece written for the Summer Arts Program I attend! Happy day.

This time, we only had one instruction: use a sentence from the text you just read as the first line of your poem - and then go for it.

I chose "I write you" as the first line. Somehow, it meant so much to me...

If you can't tell, this nonsensical string of thoughts is aimed at C.M.L. So yes, it's another Fallout piece.

It was a strange new style for me to attempt. I wasn't sure how to categorize it. If anyone has any input on where to put this, please let me know!

It was effortless to write, and I think it came together well, so you might see more of this in the future. It was an amazing experience to vent like this, I really recommend it. Look what comes out of it!

my goodness, this is...perfect?
i dunno im lost for words for it, every word is put just the way it should be, it flows so well and naturally yet it is still mysterious in a sense it could be considered slightly abstract. I guess everyone could take something beautiful from their heart. well done, keep it up
